Andrew Clement "Andy" Serkis (born April 20, 1964) is an English film actor, director and author.
He is known for portraying: Caesar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Gollum in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and King Kong in Peter Jackson's King Kong.
