Bicentennial Man is a 1999 Canadian-American science fiction comedy-drama film based on the novel The Positronic Man by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg. The film was co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Touchstone Pictures and directed by Chris Columbus. The film was released on December 17, 1999 by Buena Vista Pictures.
