
GoldenEye is the seventeenth spy film in the James Bond series. The film was directed by Martin Campbell and is the first film in the series not to take story elements from the works of novelist Ian Fleming. The story was conceived and written by Michael France, with later collaboration by other writers.
The film stars: Pierce Brosnan as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007, Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Famke Janssen, Joe Don Baker, Robbie Coltrane. The film co-stars: Tcheky Karyo, Gottfried John, Alan Cumming, Michael Kitchen, Serena Gordon, Desmond Llewelyn, Samantha Bond and Judi Dench as 'M'.
